“We Got Church at Home” is a digital narrative campaign designed to help people rediscover the original beauty and intention of the Church. Through short-form reels, honest photography, and simple bold messaging, the campaign reframes Church not as a place we attend, but a people we belong to.
The idea draws from the familiar cultural phrase “we got ___ at home,” often used humorously to describe something that falls short of the original. This campaign flips that narrative. When it comes to the Church, home is not a downgrade. It is the blueprint. Before church buildings, stages, and large productions, followers of Jesus gathered in homes. They shared meals, prayed together, learned the teachings of Jesus, and lived on mission in their everyday lives. The Book of Acts paints a picture of a Church marked by sincerity, spiritual depth, and relational discipleship.
The Design Church | Studio™ team created “We Got Church at Home” to position Influence Miami’s house churches as a continuation of that story today.
The Story
There is a growing hunger for something real.
People are longing for community that feels personal, faith that feels lived, and relationships that help them grow spiritually. Many are reconsidering what Church was always meant to be and discovering that the earliest followers of Jesus did not gather primarily in large venues, but in living rooms, around tables, and in everyday spaces.
Church was never primarily about a building.
It was always about a people.
Living rooms become places of prayer.
Dinner tables become places of discipleship.
Homes become places of belonging and mission.
Not because the space is impressive, but because Jesus is present.
This campaign helps people see that what they may be searching for is not new. It is ancient. It is biblical. It is still possible today.
Core Message
Not a building.
Not a stage.
Not a performance.
Just Jesus.
Just people.
Just home.
We got Church at home.
Emphasis: Narrative Reels

“We Got Church at Home” reminds people that Church was never meant to be distant or impersonal. It was always meant to be lived. Simple. Relational. Multiplying. Rooted in scripture. Church is not a place we go. It is a people we become. And sometimes, it begins at home.
