Our Brand Design Process

When it comes to brand design and strategy, we follow a trusted, step-by-step process that brings clarity and cohesion to your church or organization's identity.

Explore Our Work
Brand Identity Development

Following our initial Discovery Call, we kick off the design process with a 1:1 creative sprint—an interactive session where we craft a mood board that captures your church or organization's brand vibe, inspiration, and vision for direction.

1. Inspiration & Mood Board

The first step in brand identity development is to gather inspiration from various sources.

Using platforms like **Pinterest and Behance**, we curate visual references that align with the brand’s direction.

We also analyze existing churches and organizations with strong brand identities to identify effective design strategies.

The mood board** is a critical tool in this phase, serving as a visual representation of the brand’s personality, tone, and aesthetics.

This board includes:
   - Colors that evoke the intended emotions
   - Typography styles that fit the brand’s character
   - Imagery that represents the mission and culture of the organization

Design elements such as patterns, textures, and visual motifs

This phase ensures that all creative decisions are intentional and cohesive with the organization’s brand identity.

2. Logo Design & Iteration

Sketching Phase:
   - Hand-drawn sketches are created to explore different logo concepts that reflect the brand’s mission and values.
   - Multiple rough concepts are developed, focusing on different styles and approaches.

Digital Refinement:
   - Selected sketches are transformed into vector-based digital drafts.
   - Variations are explored, including different font pairings, iconography, and layout structures.

Client Feedback & Iteration:
   - Multiple logo variations are presented, allowing for client feedback.
   - Iterations are made based on feedback, refining the final logo to best represent the organization.

The goal is to craft a logo that is not only visually appealing but also timeless, scalable, and versatile across different applications.

3. Color Palette Selection

The color palette plays a vital role in how the brand is perceived.

- Using color psychology, we select shades that align with the brand’s message and audience.
- The palette is refined into:
   - Primary colors – The main colors representing the brand.
   - Secondary colors – Supporting colors for design flexibility.
   - Accent colors – Used for emphasis in marketing materials and web design.

These color choices ensure contrast, readability, and emotional connection with the audience.

4. Typography Selection

Choosing the right fonts is crucial for a cohesive brand identity.

We select primary and secondary fonts that reflect the brand’s tone, whether modern, traditional, bold, or elegant.

The selected typography ensures:
   - Legibility – Fonts must be easy to read across different platforms.
   - Consistency – Typography should be uniform across all brand materials.
   - Versatility – Fonts should work well in both print and digital spaces.

We also establish guidelines on how fonts should be used to maintain brand consistency.

5. Brand Guide Development

Once all elements are finalized, we compile them into a comprehensive Brand Guide, which serves as the blueprint for maintaining brand consistency.

The guide includes:
   - Logo variations and usage guidelines – Where and how to use different versions of the logo.
   - Color palette breakdown – Exact color codes for consistent branding.
   - Typography hierarchy – Rules for font usage and pairings.
   - Imagery and visual style guidance – Recommendations on photography, icons, and design aesthetics.
   - Brand voice and tone considerations – Guidelines on how the brand should communicate across various platforms.

This ensures that every aspect of the brand remains cohesive, recognizable, and effective.

6. Brand Collateral Creation (if applicable)

With the brand identity finalized, we create additional design assets to support the client’s needs, including:

   - Print materials – Business cards, letterheads, brochures.
   - Digital assets – Website elements, social media templates, digital banners.
   - Multimedia materials – Presentation decks, promotional materials.

These assets ensure that the brand is well-equipped for both online and offline presence.

7. Final Review & Handoff

We guide the client through their Brand Guide & Assets, ensuring they understand how to use each element effectively.

We provide all necessary file formats, including:
   - Vector files for print and web (.AI, .EPS, .SVG)
   - High-resolution and web-ready files (.PNG, .JPG, .PDF)
   - Font and color files for future use

We offer **post-launch guidance**, helping the client maintain brand consistency as they begin using their new identity.
